At Nagarro, employees are more than just a workforce—they are the heart of the company. To show appreciation for their dedication, seven incredible staff appreciation BBQ events were planned across multiple cities, each one uniquely tailored to create a memorable experience for every team. Over the course of a month, our team traveled across North America, ensuring that each celebration was filled with delicious food, exciting entertainment, and an atmosphere that truly reflected the vibrant energy of each office.
Stop 1: Toronto – Skyline Views & Gourmet BBQ
The journey kicked off in Toronto, where 40 team members gathered in a modern open-concept venue with breathtaking views of the CN Tower. The space was bright and airy, allowing guests to mix and mingle freely while enjoying the carefully curated experience. Live food stations were the highlight, offering an interactive dining experience with sizzling BBQ, fresh salads, and gourmet toppings. Against the stunning backdrop of the city, this first event set the tone for a month of unforgettable celebrations.
Stop 2: Chicago – Old-School Charm & Southern Flavors
Next, we headed to Chicago, where 60 guests stepped into a venue with classic old-school Italian charm. The warm and inviting ambiance was the perfect setting for a night of indulgence, featuring a massive array of Southern-style food. Guests enjoyed everything from slow-smoked meats to classic comfort dishes, making it a true feast. To keep the energy high, we included live face painting, adding a playful touch for guests of all ages. A mix of fun, interactive activities encouraged everyone to relax, laugh, and make lasting memories.
Stop 3: Philadelphia – A Water Park Adventure
In Philadelphia, we wanted to go big—so we brought the celebration to a water park! This event welcomed 100 guests, who got to enjoy a full day of thrilling water slides, lazy rivers, and wave pools. To make the Nagarro team feel extra special, a dedicated lunch area was set up with fun activations for the kids and a beautifully decorated lounge space for the team to unwind. Between the refreshing water park fun and delicious BBQ buffet, this stop was all about family-friendly excitement and relaxation.
Stop 4: Atlanta – Scenic Views & Team Building Fun
For the Atlanta celebration, we chose the breathtaking Stone Mountain Park as the venue, offering stunning panoramic views and an immersive outdoor experience. With 150 guests in attendance, this event focused on team-building physical activities, led by a charismatic MC who kept the energy high. Teams competed in relay races, tug-of-war, and other exciting challenges, fostering camaraderie and laughter. After all the action, guests enjoyed a laid-back picnic-style lunch, featuring an assortment of grilled specialties, fresh fruit, and cool refreshments. The blend of adventure and relaxation made this one of the most engaging stops on the tour.
Stop 5: Charleston – Boho Elegance & Intimate Atmosphere
In Charleston, we created an intimate and stylishly relaxed boho-inspired setting for 25 guests. The décor was a dreamy mix of soft neutrals, elegant florals, and rustic textures, creating an inviting space for the team to gather and enjoy. The culinary experience was just as special, with an extensive menu featuring artisanal dishes, fresh seafood, and perfectly grilled meats. Guests were encouraged to unwind, connect, and savor the moment, making this a truly refined and heartwarming appreciation event.
Stop 6: Jacksonville, Florida – Waterfront Views & Brain-Boosting Activities
Jacksonville’s event took place at a scenic outdoor venue with lush green grass right beside a large body of water—where a surprise visitor, a crocodile, made an appearance, much to the excitement of guests! The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic, featuring a live DJ spinning upbeat tracks to keep the celebration lively. Activities included croquet and a variety of brain teaser challenges, giving attendees the chance to test their skills in fun and unexpected ways. With 60 guests in attendance, this event was all about good vibes, engaging games, and an unforgettable waterfront setting.
Final Stop: New York – A Grand Camp Retreat
The final stop on the tour took us to New York, where we pulled out all the stops for 350 team members. To create an extraordinary experience, guests were transported two hours outside the city by bus to a remote camp retreat. This stunning location offered an endless variety of outdoor activities, including water sports, basketball, and rock climbing. A magician entertained guests with mind-blowing tricks, while giant bubble stations brought out everyone’s inner child. For those who wanted to take it easy, the beautiful wooded surroundings and peaceful lakeside views provided the perfect escape. The event wrapped up with a hearty and delicious BBQ feast, marking a spectacular end to Nagarro’s month of appreciation events.
A Celebration of People & Community
Each of these seven staff appreciation events was carefully designed to honor Nagarro’s dedicated team members in a way that felt personal, exciting, and meaningful. From skyline views to water parks, boho-chic elegance to high-energy camp retreats, every location had its own unique magic. Through food, fun, and connection, this month-long celebration truly captured the spirit of gratitude and camaraderie that defines Nagarro.
